A Dog's Way Home by W. Bruce Cameron

4.0

The story and the journey of the dog were adventurous. I loved how the love of the dog is portrayed and how she felt the pull to get back to her person. The story is presented from the dog's perspective which I liked, that a dog can understand a few human words and try to make the most of it. But I was a little disappointed about the depiction that they cannot communicate with other dogs either. It might be a little unreal that a dog travels so far and for so long mostly unscathed, but as a story it was an entertaining one.
