Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

4.0

I’ve wanted to read this book for most my adult life. Had a vintage copy on my shelf but never wanted to ruin it. Finally went out and bought a 60th anniversary copy and read Fahrenheit 451.
I knew the basic premise however, I didn’t realize this was deeper then that. The “Intellectual Holocaust” as it was put. Lended to Bradbury’s vision of the future and how literature was a vital part to our society.
This is a cautionary tale that still resonates today. I put it in the realm of “1984” and many others. It’s a warning of things to come if we as a society are not careful.
