The first 50 to 70% of this was so sweet and wholesome. They communicate so well and respect each other a lot. That did keep up in the end, but it just became a bit too much for me. I usually don't like pregnancy in novels, and I could semi look past it at first but then it became a bigger plot point and when she mentioned feeling the baby kick I felt the ick just thinking about that.
So yeah, I think this semi-low rating is definitely a me thing and not the book. Aside from the pregnancy I loved the romance and the inclusivity.
