The highest ratings I've given so far! This book is everything and has become one of my new favorite books ever. An adult take on Harry Potter, there's a castle, there's a forbidden forest and there's so much tension and mystery all packed up into such an amazing romance! Love the dark acedemia vibes and the freedom of interpretation that the author allows. I'm ridiculously picky and would have enjoyed some comic relief as things get very intense but that's just me. My first parapsychological romance and I am definitely going to look for more books of this genre moving forward. What an amazing book, I'm pretty sure this is a standalone but I sincerely hope we haven't seen the last of Verenmore.
