i think my biggest issue was probably that the author didn't tw this book (for the "unveiling" factor, i know) but i really wish she had. there's a lot of other things that are.....not well done... here (like the whole hades/persephone "retelling" bit just fell apart 50 pages in) but well, it's l.j. shen and there's only so much you can expect so i'll let them slide. overall, it was, if not exceedingly cute/romance-y, a captivating read and the main character has all of my heart<3 best girl after maybe luna i think! (3.75 stars)
