This book was good - it definitely kept me entertained.

Lora and Ziah are sisters and Dylan and Derrick are brothers. Ziah and Dylan are the younger siblings and are very close with their respective older siblings. Growing up Lora always told Ziah to focus on school, then her career, then boys. While Derrick told Dylan that they didn't need girls and could always depend on each other. So imagine Ziah and Dylan's surprise when Derek and Lora meet at college and decide to get married. Unbeknownst to any of them, Ziah and Dylan had already met at one of Dylan's parties where they didn't get off to the best start. The story unfolds from there - eventually Ziah and Dylan come around but it's quite the road to get there.

Likes:
Ziah - it was fun to get inside her head. I felt bad with how she was treated and was glad to see it worked out for her in the end

The differing POVs - I do like when a book is written in the first person but I also like when we can get the POV on two of the main characters. It's fun to see how they react in the same situation

Dislikes:
Lora - in the beginning, I seriously wanted to smack her for how she was treating Ziah. It drove me nuts! I know she was getting married but she shouldn't have totally blown Ziah off

Alyssa and James - Ziah is a much better person than I am because I'm not sure I could forgive either of them

Dylan's phrasing - Sometimes the way Dylan spoke didn't seem authentic to me. Saying things like 'Masta Dylan' just didn't sound like something a 17 year old boy would say. It bugged me but wasn't something that prevented me from finishing or enjoying the book

The end felt a bit rushed - I thought a lot happened in a short period of time and it could have been developed a bit more.
