This one did not click with me. There were too many things about the story that I found completely unbelievable:

The book is set 200 years in the future, but the characters are very familiar with our current media, technology, and customs. This is a huge pet peeve of mine in sci-fi. I just don't buy it.
People from other planets are Mercurian or Marsian, but Koreans are always Korean, never Earthian. Future Earth is Korea-centric in a way that doesn't really make sense and isn't explained.
In fact, very little is explained at all. We know so little about everyone and everything. Even the great mystery of the book is explained with a single sentence.
Instead, the author focuses on feelings. Everyone is so in-tune with each other's emotions, all of the time. The amount of body-language reading, glancing, and barely perceptible touching that happens in these pages is truly off-the-charts.
