A Soul to Revive by Opal Reyne

5.0

Leave it to Reyne to wreck you at just 2% in. I wanted to throw my Kindle against the wall 17 pages in. The only saving grace is that every Duskwalker book has a HEA— but the ride there is always a roller coaster.

I love Ingram’s blind passion and bleeding heart. He’s open and honest and loving, all at the same time. Kinda like Magnar but not quite as slow on the uptake. Emerie is a ferocious FMC with a strong personality and Demonslayer training. She’s also a brainiac, practical, and vulnerable without being a doormat. She’s not my favorite Duskwalker Bride (that belongs to Mayumi-always ❤️), but Emerie is definitely #2.

Their journey, like all the others, is unique and wrought with trials and tribulations and just as much action and fighting as the previous books. Meeting up with the other Duskwalkers was so great to see in this book as well, like a never-ending epilogue for books 1-4 ❤️
