I am a huge RHCP fan and I have wanted to read this book for a ling time. I really enjoyed it.
Apart from understanding how the band was born I was able to learn more about how drug addiction works, what does it take to be sober for a drug addict, what's like to be a celebrity in L.A., etc.
I also loved learning about the connections with other bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam or Nirvana.
You can totally see A.K.'s development as an individual in how he tells all his stories, and I found that really refreshing.
