This was such a phenomenal read. The author was fantastic at drawing in the reader and keeping me hooked. The flashing between Maddie’s POV and the investigation interviews with the killer slowly revealing the murder was a great writing choice and kept me invested. The hope and healing that Maddie experiences is healing for me as well. We don’t have to be the bad guys even though bad stuff happens to us and those we love.
