Overall I enjoyed the debut thriller, and I'm excited to see what else she may release. The only complaint I have, which is less complaint and more of wishing I had more, is a chapter that was in his point of view at the very end. I understand why we only had the victim/female POVS though and for that my slight gripe should be ignored as it's fueled by longing to know his motivations. The characters were extremely well written, even when their decisions were aggravating, and their motivations were well developed. I thought the prose helped move the story along and made it all the more engaging. Well done and highly recommended.
Graphic: Kidnapping
Moderate: Rape, Murder
Minor: Death of parent
