this is the worst thing i've ever read. not even worth an elaborated review. it just sucks and brings you nothing to life except anger and disappointment. every reveal is such a letdown, no character has logical thinking skills they say stuff like it's deep and complicated when it's not? ari has nothing cute going on, if he was a real person there's no way in hell dante would be in love in him unless he's a masochistic or something. not even going to bring up the brother thing because that was just fucked up and no one seems to have an appropriate reaction to it... the only nice part is how ari develops feelings for dante. it's not explicitly said but how he thinks of and describes dante are enough, but then again it got ruined by how he finds out. i mean, his parents using examples of things any friends could have done to make him realize? makes no sense.
such a shallow book, the writing style is annoying and repetitive and theres no character development whatsoever. people around ari changed but he didn't? it's like dante had an influence on him and his life but only from the outside.
gave it a star because i remember laughing out loud at one passage so.. i guess there was one funny sentence somewhere. anyway dont read it.
