Slaying for Sloan
by Dana LeeAnn, Melissa McSherry
Sloan thought she was going to have a nice Christmas with her boyfriend's family but instead got a night to remember. What started off as a heated night quickly turned into a cat & mouse game with some intense slutty rules.
Asher is completely unhinged and chaotic. He played the long game and WON! He's been watching Sloan for years and waited till the right moment to make her his. He came up with this intense game for them to play all while acting like her boyfriend. He's dark and depraved and holds nothing back. I loved when his demons came out to play. But Sloan is a bad@ss as well! She knows what she is worth and doesn't take anyone's shit for it. Especially not some entitled family or a town full of judgmental people.
I love when Dana and Melissa write together because I know it's going to be dark and unhinged. Carving for Cara and Little Nightmare are proof of that. This book did leave on a little cliffhanger, and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book because there are so many questions running through my head. I feel like Asher and Sloan will be an intense couple but also dark in some ways. I don't think Asher will change who he is, but I wonder if Sloan will awaken something inside herself and join him.
