9/10. I liked the first book better but I still really enjoyed this book. The absolute yearning (on both sides!) was very delicious. I pictured Zaf to look like the guy who plays Boorman on the Disney+ version of Willow which was wonderful considering I was very attracted to him and would be attracted to Zaf if he was a real person. In the previous book, I related a lot to Chloe on many levels but for this book, I related the most to Zafir because I am also a romantic who only wants sex with a romantic partner and have anxiety about a lot of things. I loved Dani's bluntness and her discovery of how she is worth allowing someone else to love her. Overall, I highly recommend. (less)
Graphic: Mental illness, Sexual content, Cursing, and Panic attacks/disorders
Moderate: Death of parent, Grief, and Death
This book has depictions of anxiety and mentions of depressive episodes for those who are sensitive to those topics.
