I really couldn't put this book down after work. It was refreshing after reading the filler of the second book.
The plot was constantly moving and shifting. As always I enjoyed the side characters so much and they just kept getting better.
I said it previously in reviews but I don't much care for the romance between Zander and Romeria but it felt a lot better than the lprevious book to me.
I do have to say the changing povs was a little overwhelming at the start. I was glad to get some insight in from the castle but it ended up with a whole sub plot. I did get more used to it as the story went.
The new romance coming out of said sub-plot was a little strange. I was surprised that Gracen got such a big role and it felt a little strange. I think the story could have gone without this extra fluff. It was a little unneeded. At the same time it did have good moments.
The plottwist at the end was fun and we ended on an interesting note. Wonder where it is going to take us in the next book. Now I have to patiently wait for that to get out.
