This was a bit slow at first, and I didn't agree with how certain situations were handled in the first part of the book, but I was able to accept that I was reading about high school/college age kids that wouldn't necessarily always know the right thing to do. I did enjoy the character development and that the story was full of heart and the couple were able to overcome everything they went through.
