With all due respect to dear departed Marion... this was not up to scratch. I appreciate that she was giving ideas to her 'ghost writer' and letting him get on with it, but, sorry, the best thing for this would be as Sonsie's kitty litter.
A fair story, a bit too much violence, all the old tropes dragged out.

Thank the Beeb that they're putting all of the TV versions of Hamish - bearing vague resemblense to the books - onto the iPlayer.
