山田くんと7人の魔女 1 [Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo 1]
by Miki Yoshikawa
Light comedy about a delinquent boy who accidentally switches bodies with a female top student, and the many trials they both go through trying to keep it secret and figure out how to switch back--though he seems to have bigger problems with the switch than she does. Entertainingly silly without quite crossing the line into full-blown farce, as the delinquent Yamada incidentally learns how unexpectedly tough it is to be a teenaged girl. I was unexpectedly pleased to see that they didn't rely on gratuitous undie-shots like so many high school comedy manga do. Wouldn't object to picking up the next volume and seeing how certain complications play out.
