El Palacio de la Medianoche
by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

I think I might like the Niebla series more than the Cemetery of Forgotten Books series...
The beginning of the book was slow and confusing, but as I kept reading, without realising it, I was completely emerged in the story and I couldn't put my kindle down.
This book is set in Calcutta, India in 1932. We follow a group of orphans who are about to turn 16 and all the events that follow after that. In pure Carlos Ruiz Zafón style, this book has gothic magical realism elements.
