Nice Girls Don't Win by Parvati Shallow

dark emotional funny hopeful reflective fast-paced

I’m really surprised by how intriguing this memoir was. From discussing her upbringing in an Ashram cult, life in the public eye, dealing with shame from being viewed as a one dimensional reality star, loss in her family, a turbulent divorce, and embracing her sexuality, it was a rollercoaster to digest and was enjoyable to listen to. I think the ending felt a bit rushed and I  wanted more closure, but I still think was a great insight into Parvati’s life and overcoming such monumental obstacles.
