The time to read this book is right NOW. She was so vibrant and full of life when she published this, so witty and moving forward like she had plans for the next ten years. But the tragedy is that she passed so suddenly, so when she writes in present tense you almost feel like it invokes her spirit, like she's still here in her words. It figures the person who finally pushes me to read a memoir from start to finish is Carrie Fisher. What a fun book to read just from her wise cracking alone. I was amazed how much I resonated with this book.
