I’m crying so hard once again, this series has been the corporate of my pain since I was sixteen. Legend is by far one of the best dystopian books in the ya genre. Marie Lu is a queen at what she does and she adored making me cry.
Daniel Altan Wing is the KING of dystopian boyfriends and he deserves much more than what he gets. I love having June and Day switch the usual roles of ya characters. It’s nice to have a strong female protagonist that is calculating and avoid of emotion. Day who is a strong male protagonist but is driven by his emotions, living and kind.
If you haven’t read this series yet, please do! I’m ready to read the next two again in preparation of Rebel.
