Is this series groundbreaking? No. Is it fast-paced and reasonably entertaining? Yes. Does it manage to avoid sexual assault and any and all consent-related creepiness despite having a mildly obnoxious love triangle and manipulative fae all over the place? Also yes. I'm not demanding much from my recent urban fantasy binge and this series is hitting all necessary beats. Onward!
