This was very good. Lots of lovely Bryson-y moments in it, both in humorous anecdotes and research into the history of the places he's visiting. if I have any complaint its that his usual snark has become more cranky with age, and he's living in a tile of the entirely unnecessary austerity movement in Britain causing even more damage to the things he cares about (and is trying to get you to care about) and that makes him even angrier than normal.
