If I could give 10 stars, I would. I looooooved this book. From the moment it was revealed that Riot (Killian) and Ghost (Soren) were going to be a couple, I had a feeling I’d love their story. I like that there was so much history to build off of, making their connection palpable from the very beginning. Watching them grow as individuals and together was genuinely satisfying BECAUSE of their history and all of their shared animosity.
I have a thing for cocksure boys, and bitch do these two bring it in spades. Unlike book 1, I found all the smut sexy. It was dark and very dangerous, but hot as hell… must’ve been all that consent lol.. Night weaved in their softer moments beautifully.
And aside from all the sexy times, there’s an actual plot weaved throughout the series that’s so interesting and so intriguing. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series and all of the twists and turns to come.
