I'm Glad My Mom Died
by Jennette McCurdy
challenging
dark
emotional
funny
hopeful
informative
sad
fast-paced
This book was incredible. i knew the broad strokes of Jennette’s story, so i put off reading this book. i’m glad i did pick it up eventually. her retelling of events really puts you in her mindset. it is harrowing story for most of it, but we also see the hard work and determination to work through the effects of trauma. i plan on seeking out more of her work in the future.
