The first 3/4 of this book was so intensely boring. Yes, it was interesting. Yes, it talked about redlining and gentrification and racism and all the important things that are Very Much happening but then the last 1/4 of this book sent it so far off the rails that it almost seemed comedic. It was awful,  unrealistic, and disappointing.
