Funny Girl by Nick Hornby

Did not finish book. Stopped at 37%.

The writing style was horrible and childish while the plot was incredibly bland and Boring, there was plenty of times were it actually got interesting but it was brushed over and ignored. It felt more like an early learner or middle grade book with the way it was written, it's hard to tell if it was actually a stylistic choice or it was due to pure laziness on the writers part. I'm intrigued by the show and I'll probably to watch just to see what they could do with such a strangely written book.
