Espionage? Yes. Dinosaurs? No.
Real talk though, I loved seeing Sasuke and Sakura working together on an undercover mission. It was interesting and fun following them as they try to find more about the ultra particles while not getting caught. It’s a shame that the climax just throws all of that nice pacing and tension away in favor of dinosaur resurrection and mayhem. Something else that bothered me is how it felt like the book was trying to convince us readers that there’s nothing wrong with Sasuke being an absent husband and father, because hey, he loves them! Isn’t that enough? No, no, it’s not. Fuck that. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Sasuke can’t be both a badass lone wolf and a family man. It’s either one or the other. Even with all of that said, this was still an entertaining enough story.
