When I started the Greywalker series, I was not impressed. I almost stopped reading it altogether, but I am glad I did not. Each novel in the series has gotten progressively stronger.

One thing that has always puzzled Harper was why she of all people became a Greywalker. She was not the only person to die and be brought back. But she is the only Greywalker she knows of. In this novel she travels both into her own past and to London, England in search of the answers to her questions.

The book is fast-paced and well written. The characters are strong and believable within the milieu. There were plenty of surprises and tons of action. I look forward to the next book in the series. As a testimony to how much I liked it, I read it in one day.
