Review: π–€π–“π–™π–†π–’π–Šπ–‰ brought a twist to mafia romance and Jane Henry captured my attention from the blurb alone. This book was completely unexpected but is now one of my favorite mafia reads to date. Rodion is your typical mafia man but also so unorthodox and unique that he stands out in a crowd for this trope. The romance between him and Ember - a budding book influencer - had me giggling so hard because the whole time I was just like - β€˜right, is this what these people think when we post about these mafia books?’. π–€π–“π–™π–†π–’π–Šπ–‰ was a fast paced and intense romance that balanced on the edge of dark but also had a ton of lighter areas that made you fall hard for Rodion and his charms.

What had me hooked the most though was Ember’s passion for books and the banter she shared with Rodion before she knew who he was. The concept of secretly messaging a maffisos was intriguing and Jane was able to balance the thread of believable and not really well. π–€π–“π–™π–†π–’π–Šπ–‰ was a angsty, hot romance filled with innuendo, possessive alphoale attitude and a quirky yet fiery heroine that has me excited for more!

Rating: 4.5/5; π–€π–“π–™π–†π–’π–Šπ–‰ dove into the seedy underbelly but also captivated me form the first meet-cute between Ember and Rodion!
