The Personal Assistant by Kimberly Belle

4.0

3.5 rounded to 4 stars.
This was a very good audio narration, with multiple voices portraying the main characters.
Alex is a social media influencer, but when she celebrates 1 million followers, she ends up drunk. The next morning her social media has exploded based on her post criticizing a teen celebrity. Alex doesn't recall doing this, but knows it is possible. She turns to her husband Patrick, and also tries to reach her personal assistant, AC. AC and Patrick have never liked each other, and when AC doesn't respond to Alex, Alex starts to wonder what is actually happening.
Then a back story emerges. Who is AC, what is her background. Why does she want to hurt Alex? Or is it someone else she wants to hurt? All will be revealed, and secrets exposed.
As always, Kimberly Belle writes a good thriller. However, I thought the ending was a bit contrived.
