Lair of Dreams

“Looking for truth makes a man hafta look at himself along the way.”
Opening this book and seeing new characters, I was a little disappointed. There was a lot going on in the first book, and I was hoping that this one would focus on our group as a team. Nevertheless, this was an amazing work. We got to meet Ling, a disabled Chinese Irish American, who painted a clear picture of the many struggles someone like her would face. Many of the duos I loved in the first book were not together or struggled through this book as well. And although it was still jam-packed with plot lines, I can see it all coming together. I like the longer plot forming with the King of Crows and maybe Sam's mom? And it seems like our characters will be together more in the next *fingers crossed*
