This is a rough one to rate/review, because I loved the beginning! I love a good slow burn over the course of early adulthood. But, as the story went on, I kept getting pulled out of it by the random, unnecessary pop culture references, and the second half of the book just didn't hold my interest as well as the first. By the end I was yawning, and I think everyone saw the

guy with the gun

coming from a mile away. Also, somehow, the

sexy, mature bodyguard, and the immature, crushing teenager switch bodies, like one of them grew up, and the other stayed stagnant with no character growth,

and suddenly I just didn't like Logan as much as I did in the first half of the book. Such a bummer. I was looking forward to this one a lot.
