Okayyy I’ve really been on an enemies-to-lovers kick recently… I was very excited to read this book. Friends of mine compared it to RW&RB but with sapphics. I'm not saying they're wrong but I don't know... There was just something missing from this book.

✨Book Reveiw✨
After suffering an awkward falling out with her best friend and crush, Millie is looking for a new start, and that start is in a different country. Millie was accepted into a prestigious Scottish boarding school in their first class that ever allowed women to attend. The only issue is that Millie and her roommate immediately don't get along. It also doesn't help that her roommate also is a literal princess.

While I loved the book's premise, the execution was missing. I believe the book is too faced-paced, which makes it hard to:
a. get to know the characters
b. fall in love with the characters
c. feel that the romance progresses realistically

I left reading it feeling narratively exhausted. It definitely felt like something was missing. Also, everything just happened way too quickly and I was left asking "why do I care?"

Her Royal Highness was a miss for me. I wouldn't say it was a bad book but it's just not for me.
