Death in Her Hands by Ottessa Moshfegh

4.0

4 stars.

This book was very compelling, but the writing lacked the zing of her other stuff. I also wish that the point at the end could have been made in a different way. There is this very heart-wrenching part that feels a bit like sadness for sadness’s sake.

At the same time, though, there is so much to think about with this book, especially after the fact. It’s really enjoyable that there is so much there to wonder about.
