Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

5.0

Reviewing this book is difficult because I don't have much to say other than how much I loved it.

I read Heartstopper first and when I heard that Aled was a part of Radio Silence I decided to give it a shot. I was surprised with the story, but I'm glad that I read it because it is truly one of those books that captivate you the entire time.

The main character Frances is dividing herself between who others believe she is and who she truly is - making friends is difficult this way. That's what leads to her whirlwind friendship with Aled developing. Their relationship was so purely platonic but so wonderfully loving that it made my heart soar. It's so rare to find a friendship that is palpable like this, where they're not afraid to show love and affection but have it be completely platonic.

This story has a lot of good parts to offer a lot of people, I truly recommend giving this one a shot and I challenge you to try and not fall in love with it.
