Lost Reaper by Shelley Russell Nolan

3.0

Tyler Morgan gets murdered, a bargain with the Grimm Reaper brings her back. All she has to do, is find a missing reaper and collect a lot of souls. Easy.
As I was reading this book I felt that it was too nicely wrapped up, and difficult situations were skipped. Tyler was studying for her journalist degree, however throughout the book she never once went to study and I wonder how she would have coped passing out when she had a soul to reap. After suffering a nasty breakup, I was surprised that she was so eager to be around any man, especially one that liked to play the field and she still lived with other person involved. At the start my views on Tyler was as a sweet natured girl who just wanted to get on in life, but as the story progressed she came across as a bit of a tart and even though she knew what she was doing. She was playing with the male characters emotion. Adding to the story was a serial killer who was killing girls similar to Tyler and usually I struggle to guess who did it, however I guessed straight away, which took the excitement of the read away.
The only thing that surprised me was that the story happened over a week and how quick she learnt the powers of the necklace. This was an OK read but I am unsure whether to carry on with the series
