Interesting, tbh. The story of a man who can smell anything but smells like nothing, who has obvious psychopath traits and hates people, their scent, but still feels like an outsider in a way. He is not seen and desperately wants to smell like a human. He is nothing if he can smell anything but himself.
The story was dark, obscure, twisted, even. I didn't quite like the narrator and I think the author got lost in unnecessary descriptions.
What was that ending though? It felt forced, I would have done it differently.
By and large, enjoyable, really liked Grenouille's character, but pretty heavy to read.
