And we're back!

This was a pretty solid and very entertaining YA Mystery from Jackson. The introduction of the main conflict captured my attention right away and kept me interested as it developed. There were so many questions without answers and that contributed to a lot of the tension throughout the plot!

I wouldn't say the characters were likable, but they sure were intriguing and complex. I had a looot of fun trying to figure them out and what their part was in this big puzzle. Jackson did a great job of making them individuals and each of them ended up having a part to play as the plot progressed.

The final few twists were a bit underwhelming, though. Some things were just plainly explained to us instead of shown and the sense of discovery and surprise was lost through that. I expected a little bit more from the conclusion and how certain pieces came together.
