That’s the point of humans, maybe, to fix things the gods haven’t managed.
Dark. Beautiful. Captivating. I was genuinely sucked in and swept away by this book. A dark fairytale retelling with a feminist twist, it was everything I didn’t know I needed. It took a moment to adjust to the writing style in the beginning but it was well worth it for the beautiful prose. I have very minor lingering questions about the world/plot, but I’m not dissatisfied to be left wondering. I would absolutely recommend reading this book.
