Hello Fake Boyfriend
by Kelsie Hoss
The writing wasn't great and I didn't particularly like Jonas or Mara, but there were two other major reasons for the low rating.
First, the story just meandered too much. There were at least two points where the story could have wrapped up and been a cute novella or shorter novel.
Second, there were too many consistency issues. A big one is that Mara tells Jonas that she changed her last name to Taylor and we're told her dad's last name is Schwarz, but when shegoes to visit him she asks to see Duncan Taylor . The second is when Mara buys a bunch of new clothes. She takes the tags off and washes everything the same day, but then when she goes to get dinner with her new boss she takes the tag off one of her new dresses.
That being said, am I still going to read Henrietta's book? Probably.
