ExtraOrdinary #0 by V.E. Schwab

5.0

I have not read many graphic novels, so I don’t have much to compare this to, however I absolutely loved it. I felt like it was an amazing side story to the main books in the Villains series.

Charlotte Tills is an ordinary high school student until the day she is in a bus crash and becomes an ExtraOrdinary. She soon discovers she has a power that can only be described as creepy.

I read this chronologically between Vicious and Vengeful and I found it was a nice break between the books. We get a glimpse into what has happened to Eli and a new perspective for becoming and living as an ExtraOrdinary.

The books in the series examine good versus evil with a bit of a deep dive into morally grey waters. While the Vicious and Vengeful look into the morality of characters, ExtraOrdinary looks into how powers can be used for good or evil. I absolutely adored this and I am hopeful that we will get another graphic novel to go with this series.
