So hard for me to rate this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the second half but man, did I struggle with the first 45%. Even the little things about the book bothered me. And there was no banter and no dialog which made me a little crazy. But I was hooked about half way in and I loved the last 25%. I think I'm going to land on 3.75. I think the story was endearing and sweet.
