Tabby Trouble by Iris Leigh

5.0

Tabby Trouble by Iris Leigh was the best cozy mystery I ever read. I really want to read more of this new series, A Cat Aunt Cozy Mystery.

Kat's friend traveled abroad and she needed someone she trusted to watch her three cats, Luna, Zaira, and Lola. Kat was the only one she could call. Kat hadn't any cats so, she looked a little grumpy at first but come on girl, you should know that breaking the dishes (when you didn't put them correctly), walking on TV, and sleeping on the laptop is their right. :) I liked Kat was very responsible and care about them, even though she didn't have cats before.
One day something happens to the neighbor, Mrs. Rose Hastings. When Kate goes outside to see what happened, finds Mrs. Rose's cat, Rusty (Rusty always used to stay inside and outside of the home), and emergency workers coming in and out of her home.
Mrs. Rose's death looked like an accident, but Mrs. Higgins (Kat's next-door neighbor) believes that it wasn't a natural death. It has nothing to do with Kate, she decided to lay water and food for Rusty outside.
Kate touching a plug and got an electrocuted shock and collapsed. Nothing had happened to her, everything seems ordinary, except that when she goes outside to lay water and food, Rusty can talk, Luna can talk, and Lola is missing!!!
Rusty knows where Lola is but the information isn't free. :) Rusty wanted Kate that solve the murder case, Rose hadn't died accidentally, something had happened but, Rusty doesn't know because when Mrs. Rose had her last garden gathering, she had put Rusty in a separate room.
Kate starts investigating with Rusty, a beautiful and funny ginger cat. Being a detective wasn't so hard for Kate, after all, she has a talking cat for assistants. :)
"All humans are suspicious."

I loved this book. Rusty was amazing! Well, all of them were amazing, Lola, Luna, and Zaira. This was a short clean mystery that I couldn't put it down until the end. Highly recommended this funny, sweet, and mysterious story.

Many thanks to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for giving me the chance to read Tabby Trouble A Cat Aunt Cozy Mystery, Book 1 by Iris Leigh, I have given an honest review.
