As a big fan of the Lux series and an ever bigger fan of Daemon Black I was all WHOA Hold the phone Hunter is an Arum there is no way I am going to like this guy when in Obsidian(Lux 1) I nearly had a heart attack when any Arum were around. I have to admit it though HUNTER is awesome, his whity banter back and forth with Serena had me soften to him from the get go even though he was Arum.
“Are you done acting like a psychotic, cracked out Muppet baby?"
This book also deals with older characters so the book has a bit of a sex appeal to it which we all know when added with an alpha cocky male = very good things.
For instance "I want to hear you scream my name.”
Then of course we got a special visit from Luc in the book and as before is the same little smart ass punk. Don't worry I wont ruin it and tell you if any mention of our favourite Lux characters pop up.
The one thing I really liked also about this book was giving things from the Arum's side as in any war not everyone wants the absolute power.
So I leave this by saying READ THE BOOK ITS GREAT!
