Percivious: Insomnia by Jj Cook &. Aj Cook
3.0

Thank you to the authors for my copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really found it interesting to read about a pandemic alongside literally living in one. I must admit the Medical SciFi Thriller genre is a wee bit out of my comfort zone but I also need to clarify that for me 3 stars = GOOD. So glean from that what you will.

To me the premise of an insomnia pandemic is certainly fascinating. Especially when coupled with the fact that the cure developed should be working... but it's not. Dun Dun Duuuuuun!.

Now, there are a lot of characters introduced in the beginning of this book, separated by their own chapters with different locations and times, which can be a bit overwhelming but once they repeat a few times you do get to really know them. I was intrigued by how they would impact each other as the novel progressed. That's always my favourite part about character driven books. Though I'm unsure if that's what you'd fully call this as the story really took the spotlight at many times. So let's consider it a blend shall we?.

If you're into novels by authors such as Dan Brown, Michael Crichton or Robert J Sawyer then this is likely your cup of tea! Drink, enjoy and get ready for two more cups as this book is set to be part of a trilogy!.
