I may have missed it but if I did I’m sorry I didn’t realize when I read this it is a cliffhanger. The story is good. An obsessed sheriff who c an’t get an under aged teen out of his head. The teen has a town reputation for being a prostitute yet the sheriff gets involved with him. Where the story leads is very taboo. Where the truth starts to come out is a real twist. I think the sheriff may be a little to strong emotionally. I don’t think a guy like this would last long in any kind of career doing with law enforcement but for this story purpose some of it fit. The teen is a sad story. I don’t feel there is enough background on him yet to form an opinion. I am really glad the next book will be out in a couple months rather than a couple years like this originally was. I just hope the next one has the answers.
