I LOVE THIS. SO MUCH. I DONT KNOW WHAG IT WAS. BUT IT FEELS CLOSE TO MY HEART. THE WHOLE JOURNEY. HIM AND ALICIA.
the writing style was simple, nothing special. the plot was interesting. but what i cared about the most were the characters. and i still have so many questions left, ones that are answered in the rest of the series. i’ll be honest, i don’t really want to read them, just because the synopsis of the second book has intimidated me, and that i’ve had this book unread on my shelf for years. i want to know why the second book seems like a completely different world from this. but i also don’t, at the same time.
edit; just looked through the other books and apparently they’re disappointing :( i think the concept of exploring other invisible people is cool, but i don’t want it to take away from this. also scared about this gwen character, william too. and how bobby calls himself robert now. it’s all so much. apparently alicias character is messed around with too? :(((
