I've read another book by this author that I really enjoyed, so I thought I'd enjoy this one, but it was a miss. I didn't really enjoy the plot at all, and it didn't really make any sense. Nothing really happened until the last 100 pages. I'm also, personally, not a huge fan of age gap relationship, so the pairing wasn't my fav and also lacked genuine feelings towards each other in my opinion. There was also random horrific scenes that didn't really have much to do with the plot other than to serve as a shock factor which I didn't care for.
